Guest Book
We visited Chandelao in January and enjoyed this restful place very much especially our walk through the village guided by Praveen, the visit in the craft centre and the delicious meal in Chandelao Garh and we hope to return one day.
Such a joy to be in a beautiful location, far away from crowds and the hectic bustle of every day life. Unwinding in this calm atmosphere replenishes one's sense of wellbeing. A wonderfully restful place where excellent food is prepared by a cook trained by Sajan. Praduman is an attentive and very considerate host anticipates the wishes of guests. I love being there and will be there again at the end of February! See you Praduman!
Absolutely beautiful. The rustic atmosphere, the friendly staff and the authentic culture that you can still get in the village is awesome. The beauty the village retains contrasted with the chaos of the big cities...Staying here really made me feel like feeling alive, connected to earth and people again...Thank you again...-the big group of student researchers staying there in September
I have just gone through site of Chandelao garh , i am so much impressed with every thing even only after look at website..... what will be in reality.... would like to visit once.
Thanks to Mr. Virendra Singh shekhatwat as came to know about Chandelao through him.
Stayed there with my family, parents & in-laws in March 2012. Words cant describe the beauty of this place and the wonderful hospitality by Praduman Singh. Food is excellent and the taste is authentic home-made food under strict supervision of his mother.
The way he mingles with visitors, it seems we are his long lost friend. We stayed for a night, but surely would do for at least a week, next time.
Best part of my Rajasthan trip was Chandelao Garh.
There are simply no words that can describe the enchantment of Chandelao. For me it is the "jewel in the Crown" and draws me like a magnet whenever I visit Rajasthan. Pure magic.
We have got to know about Praduman and Chandelao via friends, and lastly he had the opportunity to visit our selves the second week of Marsh 2012. If you are planning a trip to India you have to get there and experience the silent and relaxing part of India. You will love it!!!

I stayed in Chandelao | Base Camp India already in 2009 and again with my husband in December 2010.
For an authentic Indian village experience come here, 40 km East of Jodhpur.
The small and rustic fort provides nice and big rooms in converted horse stable with Rajasthani furniture, family antiques and black and white pictures from the familiy album where you can see tiger hunt trophies, Durbar processions from the Raj and good looking Indian guys on horses.
The fort is not to small and not too big. You get to meet people who are equally keen to explore India a bit different, ...(see below...)
