Chandelao Weather
Chandelao is 40 km (25 miles) from Jodhpur, and shares with it the same desert climate. Jodhpur is known as "Sun City" and sunshine and clear blue skies are the norm. Winter (October - February) is a very pleasant time to visit Chandelao, with little or no rain and pleasant temperatures. Average temperatures range from 15 - 28°C (60 - 80°F). During March and April temperatures start to rise. May and June are the hottest months with temperatures from 35 - 45 °C (95 - 115°F). Most of the annual rainfall of 25 - 30 cm (10 - 12 inches) falls during the monsoon from July to September, when temperatures are still high.
